Arrival with your own car

From the North:

Via Munich and Kufstein (Exit "Kufstein south") further to "Pass Thurn" and "Felbertauern", in Mittersill direction to  Krimml.
Via Salzburg and the A10 "Tauernautobahn" to Bischofshofen, via Schwarzach to Zell am See, from Zell am See to Mittersill further to Wald im Pinzgau and Krimml.
Motorway to Munich - Salzburg, Exit Siegsdorf/Traunstein, via "Steinpaß" through the Saalach valley to Zell am See. No road tax!, further to Mittersill and Krimml.

From the West and South:

Via Brenner border to Innsbruck further to exit Zillertal and the "Gerlospaß" to Krimml.
From Lienz (Osttirol) via Felbertauern to Mittersill and further to Krimml.
From Spittal to Mallnitz and with the ÖBB train shuttle to Böckstein, via the "Gasteinertal" to Zell am See, in Zell am See direction to Mittersill and further to Krimml.'From Villach via the A10 (Tauernautobahn) Exit Bischofshofen and via Schwarzach to Zell am See, in Zell am See direction to Mittersill and further to Krimml.

From the East:

On the A1 (Westautobahn) to Salzburg and Exit Bischofshofen via Schwarzach to Zell am See, in Zell am See direction to Mittersill and further to Krimml.
Or from Salzburg via the "kleine deutsche Eck" to Saalfelden and Zell am See further to Mittersill and Krimml.

Arrival by train

From Zell am See to Krimml you can go by the romantic "Pinzgau Local train" (narrow gage train) or by bus. It will take you about one and a half hours to Krimml. The railway station is approximately 2 km out of the village the bus stops right beside of our house.
Because of the flood in summer 2005 the track between Mittersill and Krimml is still destroyed, there is a bus service between Bramberg and Krimml. All busses are travelling in the centre of the village.
